Please note that rescues performed by the Socorro Andino Boliviano rescue team are not free. Whereas the team receives support from the Bolivian firemen for transport, all rescues performed above 4600m and/or in difficult to access locations, will be charged.

 

Socorro Andino Boliviano can be called for help when the person in need of help is covered by accident/rescue insurance. On the contrary, S.A.B. will ask for the first deposit of 1000$ USD, which will cover the initial basic costs for a day of work with 4 mountain guides participating in the rescue. This first amount has to be deposited on the following bank account. Once the rescue is over there will most probably be additional costs, depending on the duration and complexity of the rescue.
